Voluman's Flare
They say the light of Voluman’s Flare Will call the gnomes and goblins From out their damp and stony lair All owly-eyed and hobblin’

Something odd happened today.
I went to the shop to get some milk for Triskele, and when I returned, I found the ell of the house aflame. A cold blaze, one that frosted the grass on the garden path.
Naturally, I made ice cream. I decided on chocolate. Triskele prefers mint, but I did not plan on making enough for Triskele. Voluman's Flare is unpredictable; sometimes it disappears in minutes, and sometimes I lose access to my workshop for days.
When I returned to the kitchen, I noticed someone had moved my cloak. I had hung it over the high-backed chair, but I found it on a shelf in the larder. Is Triskele a comedian now? Or perhaps that old story about the Crimson Tide is true after all.
Presently the fire went out.
