A man of science and mystery, Professor Virgil Pendrake was born outside of Boise, Idaho in 1957, and has been tracking that which is not quite normal from a young age. In his self-published biography and research piece, "On The Extra Ordinary", he recounts his first encounter with the Sasquatch as, "...a harrowing encounter for a boy of seven, you see, but I still bear marks of that encounter, as I was not yet versed in their culture..."
Branded as a loose cannon by his colleagues, probably because of the age difference, his education began at Boise State, before he transferred to several different academies in several different countries. He finally graduated from the University of Louisiana with a doctorate in biology, and became what he claims to be, "The First Extraordinary Zoologist". Professor Pendrake's work frequently overlaps with what could be considered paranormal endeavors, but he maintains that all of his work is backed up by research, and hard evidence.
