June 2007 Lexicon: OrthogonalKabbalah

A lot of people don't take psychic phenomenon seriously because they believe it contradicts science. Tell me, who was it who first said that it's possible to bend space and time? Einstein? If you were talking about published articles, you'd be right. But actually, relativity was discovered about 4,000 years before Einstein.

Don't believe me? How many of you have heard of the Kabbalah, the tradition of Jewish mysticism? Well, there are traditions within traditions: how many of you have also heard of the Orthogonal Kabbalah? I didn't think so. It's a secret tradition within the Kabbalah revealed only to an inner circle of Talmudic Rabbis. It says that time and space are one and the same. Rabbis who studied it were able to free their psychic perceptions from space and time. They entered a state where their minds moved "up" out of the normal timestream into a place we call Intraspace, or the astral realm. They often referred to this as the Wilderness Between.

Obviously we don't have a copy of the Orthogonal Kabbalah with us tonight, but each of you has that same psychic potential within you. We can get a sense of what they were doing with a simple psychic exercise. I want everyone in the room to close their eyes and begin to take slow, deep breaths. ...
