Larry Tinker
I have finally obtained some samples of Larry Tinker -- thankfully he was buried nearby in the Believers Memorial Cemetery. I am still not certain he knew what he was doing, but there is one certain way to find out.
The architecture of this house is queer. The halls follow the layout of the Orthogonal Kabbalah. Tinker commissioned it and may even have built part of it himself, yet he seems to have had no magical knowledge of his own. If the stories of demon trials in the area are true, then perhaps he was compelled to build it as such by forces outside of his own control. But then I expect I would feel much more powerful forces in the area.

Tinker knew exactly what he was doing! The sale of the house to Emanuel Stargazer was the perfect plan. By transferring ownership of the land he was able to reap all the benefits of its magic and still avoid the Yarrow curse. Not only was he magically knowledgable, he may have been the most inventive wizard of his time. His experiments regarding the Tetragraph are the most groundbreaking of any thus far, and they now exist solely in my hands.
Unfortunately the police interrupted me in the middle of the working, so I was not able to finish my spell. Still, the mass of flesh remaining in the basement is still technically alive, and so may have more secrets to reveal.
