Young Patriot
“Young Patriot? I don’t have much truck with the name, but the liquor is in the right place. Goobagooba.” – Ol’ Horace
The Young Patriot is a concoction which first made an impact on the social scene of Undar soon after Altrizad Ghoblum’s trip to the Kingspike Mountains within the Far Lands. It is highly intoxicating, utterly disorienting, and slightly greenish-red. Aesthetically, it is one step in outrage from the Eclipsed Dinner, but the culinary factor is definitely worth your time. Only Ghoblum and those merry bartending brethren of his know the secret reagent which makes it so flammable, but the following ingredients have been confirmed: sugar, cirham, lemon juice, and Warson sauce.
Despite the drink’s popularity, it has not encouraged many of its devoted fans to sample other imports from the Far Lands which have been slowly suffusing our cultural stagnation-pool. Grilled parloni steaks are as far as most go, thinking themselves to be high-nilly gourmands. I encourage you to advance further, stout master of your own senses! The gooba fruit goes well with a Young Patriot or two, and I would be hiding a sacred treasure from you if I did not recommend the borgon-glazed stribe yams. Yes, a cultural fusion is possible, at least in the world where fork and pen rule over censer and sword. For this, let us thank the modern sensibilities of our new, Young, Patriot.
