The Razing of the Vontads stands as one of the most triumphant events in the history of the Uumian religion. It started on 21 of Grune, Year of the Slightly Angry Panda, immediatly after the first Incarnation of Uum, and ended the next day. The Vontads had been gaining power throughout the kingdom of Matrtut, and many temples had been erected to their might throughout the land, mainly in the rural areas. Using the his holy fire, the Incarnate destroyed every temple of the Vontads in one fell swoop, leaving nothing behind but ashes. Many of the heathen worshippers refused to leave their temples, and were razed along with the buildings. Uum had thus established his supremacy over any contenders through his Incarnate, and the would would be free of heresy until the Holy War of Ascension.
