Lesser Matratut used to be the largest and most powerful nation in Jalbroth. Looks like the Fall of Uum has changed all of that, now. The Palace of Quent itself was destroyed part a huge chunk of rock that was believed to be his foot. And the whole thing is covered by the Glow of Tarhur now, too.
The place is interesting to travel through, these days. You've heard about ghost towns? Try ghost imperial cities. Everything was abandoned in a heart beat. Some houses still have tables set with food, waiting to be eaten before the Rain of Screams started. Some cities have absolutely everything intact, minus the people. Everyone's too scared to live there these days.
One of the only places that even sees regular travel is the Quiet City of Matratut, but that's a whole different story.
