What's going on with the Lithoni Tribesmen these days? It's almost exactly like what happened to The Kammocks!
What? You don't know what happened to the Kammocks?
It was back in...I believe...The Year of the Very Distinguised Salmon. Yes, a long time ago. It's one of the more famous, though least understood, myths about Uum out there.
The Kammocks were a group of tribes that lived in what's now the area surrounding The Royal Academy of Matratut. They had been living there undisturbed for ages, but then Uum came along. He began killing them off, slowly. They, in an effort to stay alive, were forced to attack the citizens of Matratut, more and more desperately as more and more of their homes were destroyed by the god. Matratut was not a powerful nation at this time, only small cities barely connected to each other, while the Kammocks had high numbers and were very mobile, riding on (the now extinct) Rock Leapers, that somehow only they were able to tame. Rumors were spread about them...that they were responsible for the destruction in the Wasted Lands, that they ate babies, that they sold their own children as well as those they kidnapped to Carrse Island to be slaves. None of these were true, but between Uum and Matratut's newfound fervor to wipe them out, they were pushed continually further back into the Wasted Lands.
To this day no one knows if any of them survived. Chances are they have, but the closed minds of Undar and Matratut would most likely destroy anyone claiming Kammock heritage.
Anyway, enough of the history lesson. Don't you see the parallels?
