Boundless Ocean

The Boundless Ocean is presently the northern border of Jalbroth. We try and penetrate beyond it to find the lands which Uum has promised us, but all we find are a smattering of islands. The Islands of Spice and Steam, which range to the northwest of the Lesser Matratut region in a lengthy archipelago, provide a welcome vacation spot for our intrepid explorers as they set out on their journeys to far-off lands. Farther to the west lies the inhospitable Carrse Island, guarded by the last outpost of humanity, Fort Pearl. The islands to the north and northeastern sectors of the Boundless Ocean are presently cut off from legitimate study, as the region is protected by a cordon of Undarian warships. Uum willing, this war will end soon so that we may learn what treasures have been hidden to the east.

Obo Katin, Chair of Cartography at Hakutsu University, claims to hold a mathematical proof of the existence of the lost continent of Tuam, but so far no one has been willing to take him up on the idea of an expedition. The evidence found within the scrolls of Uum is much more compelling to those who depend on Matratut shipping concerns. According to those ancient scrolls, the feared Jeikinnoth is located at the center of where Katin places Tuam.
